Micro Services Developer
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Position Type: Full Time
Salary: DOE US Citizen, Green Card and GC EAD Only. NO Visa Sponsorship (H1B Transfer) or no Corp. to Corp no 1099
Must Have
- Extensive experience in developing applications with Java, Spring Frameworks like Spring Boot, MVC, Batch, JUnit
- Extensive experience working with NoSQL DB like Cassandra
Desired Skillsets
- Working experience with implementing Edge Services (like RxJava), Circuit Breaker (like Hystrix)
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and support custom solutions
- Prepare test plans and perform functionality and performance testing
- Experience working Cloud enabled applications
- Experience working in Agile
- Strong communication, leadership, troubleshooting & consultation skills.
- Excellent organization skills with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to find successful resolutions for complex issues, escalating those that require management involvement when necessary
- Prior experience supporting Java applications with Oracle backend a plus
- Identify and address performance/scalability bottlenecks
- Build unit and integration test automation for features delivered while keeping a high level of code coverage
- Respond to production issues for owned areas and mitigate them when problems occur
- Follow all agile team processes.
