Job Description

Occupational Therapist (OT) - El Dorado, KS (Outpatient)
Start in July 2026 with a supportive team at a small community hospital ~30 minutes northeast of Wichita . Enjoy a consistent Monday-Friday schedule (no weekends, holidays, or on-call), plus a competitive pay package with weekly pay via direct deposit . On-site start dates begin 07/06/2026 , with an opportunity for training overlap as the facility brings you onboard.

Hours/week: 40 hours guaranteed per week

License/Certs: Kansas state license required ; minimum BS degree in Occupational Therapy
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Outpatient Therapy

What You'll Do

Provide occupational therapy services in an outpatient setting
Deliver patient-centered treatment using evidence-based techniques (including upper extremity orthopedic care )
Apply manual therapy skills (preferred) to support functional improvement
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Meditech
Support patient care by floating as needed to inpatient and/or home health
Collaborate with the care team to support coordinated therapy plans
Work within a small facility environment supporting 49 licensed beds

What You Need
Required

Kansas state Occupational Therapy license
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
Minimum 2 years experience in Outpatient Therapy
Ability/willingness to float to inpatient and home health as needed
Strong orthopedic knowledge of the upper extremity

Preferred

Manual therapy experience

About the Assignment
This is a permanent placement opportunity with a leading small community hospital in El Dorado, Kansas , offering Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts and no weekends/holidays/on-call . The facility is planning coverage with a July 2026 start (07/06/2026) and would like to build in training overlap to help you ramp up successfully. You'll work in an environment supported by a modern documentation system ( Meditech ) and flexible scheduling between 7:00 AM-5:00 PM .
