Now Hiring: Experienced Diesel Mechanic

East St. Louis, IL – Rose Lake Rail Terminal

• Real money: $70,000 – $90,000 per year ($35 – $39/hour based on experience) with regular overtime available.

The Work You’ll Do: (and actually enjoy)

• Keep heavy forklifts, hostlers, and terminal vehicles in top shape
• Tackle air, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems with confidence
• Weld, fabricate, and problem-solve on the spot
• Perform preventative maintenance that prevents downtime and keeps the terminal flowing
• Jump in wherever the team needs you—every day is different

What You Bring:

• At least 2 years of real diesel or heavy equipment experience
• Your own hand tools (we give you a generous yearly tool allowance)
• Solid understanding of air brakes, electrical, hydraulics, and diesel engines
• Valid driver’s license and a clean-enough record to pass a standard 7-year background check and drug screen
• No diploma needed—your work history and ability do the talking
