Technical Project Manager

Technical Project Manager Position DescriptionWe are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team. The selected candidate will work a hybrid schedule consisting of three (3) days each week onsite in Long Beach, CA and two (2) days each week remotely. This position will serve as the primary project management resource supporting Infrastructure Operations while coordinating efforts across Security Operations, Network Operations, Enterprise Architecture, Business Applications, and external vendors and partners. This role requires strong communication skills as well as technical expertise across cloud technology and services.What You'll Do:Manage a portfolio of strategic cloud and infrastructure modernization projectsTrack dependencies across architecture, security, identity, endpoint computing, and business applicationsMonitor resource utilization and identify scheduling conflictsEscalate project risks and resource constraints to leadershipCross-functional coordinationEstablish and facilitate agile/scrum delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectivesWork with technical leads, product owners, engineers, architects, and stakeholders to develop and maintain prioritized product and project backlogsManage dependencies between agile teams, vendors, operational teams, and projects following project delivery methodologiesEnsure technical debt, operational readiness, documentation, security requirements, and support-transition activities are incorporated into project and sprint planningCoordinate vendors including consulting partners, Microsoft, professional services, software vendors, system integratorsDevelop Statement of Work (SOW)Monitor budget and deliverablesSchedule and escalation managementAssess organizational impactsDevelop implementation plans track organizational readinessCoordinate communicationsSupport user adoptionWhat You'll Need: Required:10+ years of project management experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity or cloud transformation projectsProven ability to operate at both the project delivery and program oversight levels, managing multiple concurrent projects and dependenciesStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; able to operate with minimal direction and drive resolution when gaps ariseTechnical fluency across infrastructure, security, networking, hardware, software, and enterprise architecture domainsSkilled in cross-functional communication, including the ability to influence without direct authority and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiencesExperience working across multiple IT functions, navigating cross-team dependencies, and balancing competing prioritiesExperience working with both internal technical teams and external vendors or service providersAbility to work effectively in both structured and ambiguous environmentsPhysical Demands:Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorIndividuals in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, and viewing of monitors, with exposure to moderate noise levels.
