Key Qualifications:

• Current valid State certification (165) required for Special Education (middle or high school level)
• Experience working with neurodiverse youth in educational settings
• Knowledge of coteaching and resource instructional strategies
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with general education staff, families, and support personnel
• Commitment to advocating for students with unique learning needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction for neurodiverse learners at the middle or high school level
• Collaborate with general education teachers to implement IEPs and adapt curriculum within a coteach or resource setting
• Assess student progress and provide data-driven interventions
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with special education policies and procedures
