Job Summary Assistant Manager responsible for all shift tasks, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. Shift: Full Time | Salary: $17.50 per hour Responsibilities Manage store operations and drive results. Comply with and manage local food safety requirements for the team. Inspect and correct store cleanliness and image issues. Delegate routine tasks such as prep work, cleaning, sanitation, and stocking boxes. Prep the store at closing so it’s ready for opening. Manage, communicate, and improve service times during a shift. Complete inventory process accurately when required. Serve as manager-in-charge for opening and closing shifts with support from GM or AGM. Assist with schedule creation. Perform quality checks on all orders to ensure product meets standard. Team Building and Leadership Build an effective team with support from AGM and GM to create a positive environment. Support onboarding of candidates and new team members. Answer basic career path questions at Domino’s. Train staff on various team member tasks. Recognize and correct policy‑violating behaviors. Set consistent expectations and hold others accountable. Customer Service Excellence Build relationships with new and loyal customers. Review and respond to customer feedback. Understand menu items and describe products to customers when needed. Monitor team performance from a customer’s point of view. Coach the team on upselling orders. Ensure team members maintain proper image throughout the shift. Drive service results and address areas of opportunity. Food Safety and Team Safety Promote team member safety inside and outside the store by communicating its importance. Ensure team members complete required training in a timely manner. Execute correct procedures for safety and security incidents. Promote delivery safety by assisting with call‑backs, ensuring drivers use lock boxes, and following safe delivery protocols. Prevent and react to shortages within the store. Technology Operations Operate and troubleshoot store technology. Introduce or train on new technology with support from AGM or GM. Check, operate, and troubleshoot systems as directed. Leverage recommended operations technology to track routines. Qualifications Prior experience in a management or similar role preferred. Prior experience in a customer service or applicable role preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead by example and ensure accountability. Strong problem‑solving skills for customer concerns and complaints. Ability to work as part of a team to achieve common goals. Basic math skills. Excellent verbal, written, and telephone skills for orders. Motor coordination for rapid, accurate movements. Physical Requirements Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, hand tasks as described in the original text. Other Requirements Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions during outside tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36°F to 90°F+ in some work areas. Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, fumes, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts. Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality standards, analyze data, make judgments and decisions.
