We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician to support the operation and maintenance of solar energy facilities. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, assist with repairs, and help ensure equipment and site operations are running safely and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with mechanical, construction, or industrial maintenance experience who are looking to grow in the renewable energy industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
• Complete corrective maintenance and repair tasks as assigned.
• Generate maintenance reports and documentation in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Assist qualified technicians with electrical preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
• Support field investigations and data collection for predictive maintenance initiatives.
• Coordinate site access and provide oversight for third-party contractors when required.
• Assist with solar module washing, vegetation/land management, and other site maintenance activities.
• Participate in equipment and safety training as required.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a mechanically demanding environment.
• Solar installation or maintenance experience is a strong plus.
• Construction or industrial maintenance experience is preferred.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel locally up to 2 hours each way as required for assigned sites.
