Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire position in Wilkes Barre, PA. Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician

• Filling prescriptions and preparing IVs under direct supervision
• Entering data into the computer system for prescription fulfillment and reimbursement payment
• Pre-packaging medication for dispensing as per standards and regulations
• Assisting Registered Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions
• Coordinating accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers
• Maintaining good inventory practices, including receiving and rotating incoming medications and supplies
• Ensuring a clean and safe work environment and checking equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness

Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician

• Experience in pharmacy technology or equivalent role
• Ability to work under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
