Medical Assistant

(Backfill for GT)

• Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) is REQUIRED; Cannot be a Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R), Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P), or Medical Assistant-Hemodialysis Technician (MA-HT).
• This position is open to LOCAL and NON-LOCAL (in WA state) candidates.
• This is a TEMP TO HIRE opportunity. Clinic may offer contractor to join this clinic permanently at the end of the contract if all goes well. If candidate is unwilling or unable to join the clinic permanently, they are not eligible and will be redirected.
• Cardiology Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) - Seattle & Bothell, WA
• Schedule: 4x8hr ***M/W/Th/F; Tu shifts may be an option (in addition to M/W/Th/F) if needed to cover gaps in schedule /// OFF weekends***
• All shift times vary depending on clinic start time; M/W/Th/F 8:00-4:30 pm, Tu 7:30-4:00 pm. These times can vary depending on if help is needed in another clinic.
• M/W/Th at First Hill Clinic (1101 Madison Street, Suite 301, Seattle, Washington 98104)
• F at First Hill Clinic but with possibility of floating to Ravenna Clinic or Canyon Park Clinic as needed (Ravenna: 63322 Roosevelt Way NE, Seattle, WA 98155 / Canyon Park: 1909 214th Street SE, Suite 300, Bothell, WA 98021)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (start ASAP)

• Experience: 6 months of experience working as an MA-C in an adult/pediatric outpatient clinic setting is preferred, cardiology setting is preferred
• First-timers accepted: Yes
• Weekend REQ: No
• Is on-call REQ? No
• Will this traveler need to float? Possibly, for staffing coverage as needed only, not every day. Float locations are listed above. Confirm with manager.
• Locals accepted: Yes, at same rate

SPECIAL NOTES:

• Candidate is expected to have reliable transportation (NOT PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION) and no additional scheduling restrictions. All travel pairs will be required to have their own transportation.
