About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days, Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months of current operating room experience required License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required Certifications: BLS (AHA) required Must-Have: - 24 months of current operating room experience required - Circulating and operating room experience required - EPIC electronic medical systems experience within the previous 3 years required - Trauma Level II experience required - Must have completed a travel assignment within the previous 15 months required Description: Quickly interviewing viable candidates. Phone call or text communication will be used. Local radius rule is 50 miles. Employee separation policy applies for certain past employees. Requirements for holiday work will be outlined in the contract. Call schedule includes weekends and overnight shifts. Average caseload is 35-50 cases per day. Expectation for turnovers is less than 20 minutes. Special equipment includes 3 robotic systems and advanced navigation technology. Service lines include a variety of surgical specialties. Scrub or circulation experience is preferred. Flexibility to float across campuses and service lines is required. Professional references from within the last 24 months are preferred.
