Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (either 06:45 - 19:15 or 09:00 - 21:30).

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) with a current AK RN license to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various surgical procedures and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to emergencies as necessary.
• Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation and communication.
• Participate in patient education and support throughout the surgical process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room environment.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and CNOR preferred.
• Current AK RN license (in hand for auto offer).
