Clinical Account Executive, Oncology - North Los Angeles, CA

Clinical Account Executive (CAE), Oncology — field-based. Candidates should live within a reasonable distance of the primary city. Territory: Los Angeles North (Santa Monica, Pasadena, Glendale, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Duarte, Bakersfield). Reporting to the Senior District Manager, build and implement territory business plans aligned with brand objectives and business goals; demonstrate hematology disease-state understanding; establish strong relationships with hematologists/oncologists, nursing/office staff, and others in the oncology patient care continuum. Foster collaboration in a co-promotion landscape; share knowledge and drive results aligned with brand expectations and AbbVie’s mission. Key Accountabilities / Core Responsibilities: Meet/exceed assigned sales goals. Present approved disease state and product information using persuasive selling within Promotional Policy. Use sales analytics/customer intelligence to create strategic plans. Execute sales/marketing strategies in-territory using cross-functional partners and approved resources. Build knowledge of marketplace/territory changes and disease/product expertise. Collaborate with territory partners and external counterparts. Develop and execute call plan to meet call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency. Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and Pharmacyclics policies. Qualifications / Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required. 2+ years Hematology/Oncology sales experience preferred. Proven track record exceeding sales expectations. Strong consultative communication and competitive selling skills. Collaborative team environment experience. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Pass background checks and additional screening as required (e.g., immunization, TB, HIV, hepatitis, drug screening). Regular business travel by air or car.
