Our 36-bed behavioral health unit will offer a continuum of inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services for adults and senior citizens, including crisis stabilization for acute mental health and substance use disorders; detoxification from alcohol and drugs; and treatment for anxiety, depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and many other behavioral health concerns. How you'll contribute A Intake & Assessment RN who excels in this role: Accurately perform patient assessments andidentifyindividual care needs. Initiate and implementappropriate nursinginterventions. Deliver careappropriate tothe condition and age of each patient. Document medical necessity and nursing activities ina timelyandaccuratemanner. Complete and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plans for assigned patients. PerformtimelyandaccurateQuality Improvement (QI) assessments. Perform other duties as assigned. Ability to work with children, adolescents, adults (18 and over) or geriatric patients experiencing mental illness and acute psychiatric crisis. What we're looking for Applicants should have a current state or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS). Licenses: Must have a current state or compact state RN license. Education: Associate's degree required. BSN preferred.
