Host Job

A host is the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for presenting exceptional customer service to ensure the guests' first impression of the restaurant is a positive one. Responsibilities include greeting and welcoming guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a genuine smile and positive attitude, engaging with guests, anticipating their needs, and responding promptly to any inquiries or concerns. Maintain knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and restaurant promotions to provide accurate information to guests. Handle guest complaints or issues professionally or bring them to the manager when necessary. Assist with running food, delivering and/or refilling guests' drinks, guiding guests to their tables and presenting them with menus, taking to-go orders over the phone and in person, engaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service, refilling drinks and clearing plates as needed during guest's dining experience, providing great customer service, providing highchairs and other requested items to the guest. Responsibilities include complying with all federal and state laws, including the FLSA tip regulations regarding tip reporting, sharing, and minimum wage requirements.

Qualifications: 1 year of restaurant experience preferred, organizational skills, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, positive attitude, work well in a team environment, ability to multitask, availability on weekdays, weekends, nights, mornings, and holidays, must be able to read and write in English and handle math calculations.

Posted salary range USD $12.00 - USD $12.00/hr. Tipped position. This position does not earn tips.
