Here are a few things you would do as a teller:

• Process member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments efficiently and accurately.
• Assist members with account inquiries, check cashing, and resolving basic banking issues.
• Identify opportunities to refer customers to other banking services, such as loans, savings accounts, or investment services.
• Promote and explain banking products, services, and digital banking tools.
• Provide a welcoming and professional experience for every member.
• Build long term relationships with members and co-workers.

Skills/Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent listening and verbal skills, and ability to promote products and services.
• Attention to detail and time management skills.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency with the internet and Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Work, and Outlook.
• Demonstrated proficiency in organizing and prioritizing work to meet deadlines, with the ability to adapt within a changing environment.
• Previous banking experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish, a plus.
