Marketing Manager Exempt 9 days ago Requisition ID: 1088 Salary: $75,000.00 Annually Pay: From $75,000.00 per year Position: Marketing Manager - The Garden City Hotel Job Overview The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing, branding, digital, social media, and communications initiatives that drive revenue, enhance the guest experience, and strengthen The Garden City Hotel's luxury brand. Working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing and cross-functional departments, this role ensures consistent brand messaging while supporting hotel-wide promotions, events, and strategic marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute annual, seasonal, and promotional marketing plans aligned with revenue and brand objectives. Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing with budgeting and marketing initiatives. Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and identify growth opportunities. Establish campaign objectives and measure performance. Social Media & Content Lead the strategy and execution of the hotel's social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Develop engaging photography, video, and written content that reflects the hotel's luxury brand and supports revenue initiatives. Manage the social media content calendar, live event coverage, and seasonal campaigns. Monitor performance analytics, audience growth, emerging trends, and recommend ongoing improvements to maximize engagement and reach. Content & Creative Development Lead the creation of marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, and creative content. Coordinate hotel photography and videography across guestrooms, Food & Beverage outlets, events, spa, and public spaces. Develop and oversee guest-facing collateral including menus, brochures, room materials, signage, and promotional assets to ensure accuracy and brand consistency. Digital Marketing Manage website content, SEO, and performance optimization. Oversee Google Business Profiles for the hotel and its outlets, ensuring listing accuracy, local search optimization, and reputation management. Execute CRM, email marketing, SMS (Canary), and digital campaigns to drive guest engagement and incremental revenue. Manage Meta advertising (Facebook and Instagram), including audience targeting, campaign development, budget management, retargeting, performance optimization, and ROI reporting. Brand Management & Communications Maintain the hotel's luxury brand identity and ensure consistency across all digital, print, and on-property materials. Serve as the primary liaison for creative agencies, media partners, photographers, and other marketing vendors. Events & Experiences Marketing Assist in conceptualizing, developing, and promoting hotel events, restaurant activations, guest experiences, and seasonal programming. Manage Eventbrite and OpenTable Experiences listings and promotional strategies. Prepare post-event reports evaluating attendance, revenue, guest engagement, operational execution, and recommendations for future improvements. Cross Departmental Support Provide marketing support for Sales, Catering, Food & Beverage, Human Resources, Banquets, and Operations. Develop and maintain sales collateral, promotional materials, and guest-facing communications. Oversee property-wide signage and promotional materials to ensure consistency with brand standards. Leadership & Administration Manage relationships with marketing, creative, digital, print, photography, media, and production partners. Provide weekly marketing updates and performance summaries to the Director of Sales & Marketing while ensuring the timely execution of all marketing initiatives. Monitor and respond to guest reviews across Google, TripAdvisor, OpenTable, and other review platforms while identifying trends and opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction, strengthen the hotel's online reputation, and improve the overall guest experience. Qualifications & Expectations Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, or a related field preferred. 3-5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in luxury hospitality, hotels, restaurants, or a related industry. Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media, SEO, brand management, and content creation. Experience managing Meta Ads, Google Ads, CRM/email marketing, and Google Business Profiles. Proven ability to develop engaging content and capture photography/video for social media and live events. Strong analytical skills with experience measuring campaign performance, digital growth, and return on investment (ROI). Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated, creative, and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments. Must be flexible to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays to support hotel events and marketing initiatives.
