The Custodian 2 is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and custodial upkeep of all assigned spaces by the Facilities Department management.Salary: $1,855.00 - $3,338.00 MonthlyLocation: Lafayette, LAMinimum Qualifications: Six months of experience in custodial, housekeeping, groundskeeping, or food service work.Job Specification: The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found here.Job Duties and Other Information:Clean and sanitize restroom and bathroom areas using established practices and procedures.Ensure all floors are swept, vacuumed, mopped, and maintained in accordance with the Master Cleaning Schedule and as assigned.Refill all restroom dispensers to ensure an adequate supply of paper products as assigned.Performs specialized floor maintenance and upkeep utilizing established protocols and industrial-grade machinery.Acts as the primary point of contact for the notification of janitorial supply inventory needs.Complete all monthly, quarterly, and annual deep cleaning tasks identified in the Master Cleaning Schedule and as assigned.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
