Contract (12 Weeks) | Rotating Days and Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Onsite | Weekend, Holiday, and On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized peri-anesthesia care in a 28-bay PACU unit serving patients across the full lifespan and spectrum of acuity, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Deliver vigilant pre- and post-operative nursing care for inpatients and outpatients undergoing scheduled or emergency surgical and procedural services
• Titrate vasopressors, manage airways, and care for ventilated patients as required by patient acuity
• Administer blood products and perform fluid resuscitation in accordance with clinical protocols
• Participate in on-call coverage with 1–2 twelve-hour call shifts per six-week schedule
• Float within specialty, other units, and sister facilities within scope as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or active Compact RN license at time of submission
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
• Strong ICU experience required
• Ability to work rotating day and night 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Comfort floating within scope to other units and facilities with no restrictions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for patients across the full lifespan, including neonates, infants, and pediatric populations
• Familiarity with peri-anesthesia nursing across a broad range of surgical and medical specialties
• PALS certification (AHA only)
• NRP certification (NRP or AAP accepted)
