Perform routine and complex survey calculations and control adjustments. Research records and assist with records assignments. Assist with CADD drafting assignments. Analyze boundary evidence and parcel/ROW records to determine property boundaries and rights of way. Document property boundaries, easements and land ownership details for compliance. Create detailed topographic maps and surveys for project planning and design. Maintain client relationships and facilitate deliverables for outstanding customer experience. Provide QA/QC on survey work across all sectors. Mentor less experienced team members. Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering or related field. Experience in surveying software and equipment (AutoCAD, GPS, total stations, data collectors). Previous land surveying experience. Professional NYS Survey License required. Knowledge of land surveying aspects, boundary determinations, control adjustments, topographic surveying/mapping, NYSDOT standards, and ALTA requirements. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and MicroStation preferred. Team player with strong communication, respect, and trust. Results‑oriented, self‑motivated, proactive, and eager to learn. Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, sound judgment, organization and time‑management. Attention to detail and flexibility with assignments. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Physical Demands & Work Environment Stand and walk for long periods and distances. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Lift up to 50 pounds at a time. Occasional travel to project sites throughout NewYork. Access and navigate construction sites and job areas. Traverse uneven grounds. Work in office, field, and construction environments with exposure to dust, noise, grease, smoke, fumes, gases, heat, cold, and inclement weather. Salary $83,200 – $91,520 annually (actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors).
