Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Travel RN specializing in Operating Room procedures to support high-quality surgical care. This role requires strong expertise in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries, with on-call responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
• Assist surgical teams with sterile techniques, instrumentation, and patient positioning.
• Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout operative sessions.
• Document all clinical interventions and patient responses accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff to facilitate smooth procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of OR experience.
• Proven expertise in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular surgeries.
• Ability to work nights and handle on-call duties.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of surgical supplies and sterilization processes.
• Maintain CPR, ACLS, and BLS certifications current.
• Able to adapt to changing schedules and float to other units if necessary.
