Help shape the learning experience for students in elementary and middle school environments, ensuring access to high-quality special education services. This role focuses predominantly on completing special education evaluations and working closely with educators, families, and staff to foster positive student outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Indiana license to practice as a School Psychologist
- Background in psychoeducational assessments, special education eligibility determination, and best practices in student support
- Familiarity with special education law and compliance standards
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills for engaging with staff, students, and families
- Ability to work on-site is preferred; however, virtual candidates with appropriate licensure are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
- Conduct approximately 60–80 special education evaluations annually
- Serve a caseload spanning three PreK–6 elementary schools and one 7th/8th grade middle school (assignment may adjust based on remote or in-person availability)
- Work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, following the academic calendar from August 5, 2026, to May 19, 2027
- Report to the district supervisor and participate in monthly team meetings
- Provide expert collaboration and consultation to school teams and families
