Electrician Foreman - Cider

Job Overview: Job Summary The Electrician Foreman will lead and supervise a team of electricians on solar energy projects, specifically within the "Cider" division, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient electrical installations from ground-up construction to final commissioning. This role requires extensive electrical experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and project timelines. Supervise and mentor a team of electricians, apprentices, and laborers on solar farm construction sites. Plan, lay out, and oversee all aspects of electrical installations, including conduit bending, cable pulling, wire termination, and equipment hook-ups (inverters, transformers, switchgear, etc.). Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to ensure compliant installations. Conduct daily safety meetings, enforce safety protocols, and ensure all work is performed in accordance with OSHA and company safety standards. Perform quality control inspections of electrical work, identifying and rectifying any deficiencies. Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades to ensure smooth project progression. Manage and track material usage, equipment, and tools on site. Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions. Prepare daily reports on progress, challenges, and resource utilization. Train and develop team members, fostering a skilled and productive workforce. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal electrical codes and regulations. Job Qualifications Valid Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent certification) required. Master Electrician license preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed electrician, with at least 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role, preferably in renewable energy or heavy industrial construction. Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant electrical standards. Proven experience with large-scale electrical installations, including AC/DC systems, medium voltage, and grounding. Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated commitment to safety and ability to enforce safety regulations effectively. Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters, etc.). Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel and work on projects across various locations as required.
