Clark Transfer has been the transportation partner behind Broadway national tours, concerts, and live entertainment across North America for more than 75 years. This isn't general freight and it isn't paid like general freight.

You're paid by the day, not only by the mile

Touring productions load in, run, and load out. That means real days parked at a venue. On a straight per-mile model those days pay nothing. Here they pay:

• Tour base pay , plus fuel surcharge
• Detention pay: $250/day solo, $275/day team
• Guaranteed weekly minimum: $3,500 solo / $5,000 team , every week worked
• Paid loaded, empty, bobtail, and detention miles
• Fuel surcharge on all eligible miles

Most of our solo operators run under 85,000 miles a year. On a traditional OTR pay structure fewer miles would mean less money. With day-rate pay, it means less wear on your truck for the same revenue.

What Clark covers

• Cargo and liability insurance
• Tolls, permits, and fuel taxes
• Customized 48' and 53' dry van trailers, provided
• Company-supported health insurance program
• Low fuel price guarantee
• Quarterly bonuses and a $5,000 driver referral bonus

The freight and the schedule

• 100% owner operator fleet (lease purchase unavailable)
• Year-round, no-touch entertainment freight
• Nationwide tour routing

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• 23 years of age or older
• 2+ years OTR experience, including 6 months in the past 12
• 2021 or newer tractor
• Willing to run nationwide (must have or be willing to obtain a passport)
