Position Summary
Defense Acquisition Support Services (DAS) is seeking a motivated Data Scientist to support complex analytics initiatives for government clients. This role will develop business intelligence solutions, build impactful dashboards and reports, manage client relationships, and deliver data-driven insights that support mission success across a growing analytics portfolio.

Defense Acquisition Support Services (DAS) is seeking a motivated Data Scientist to support complex analytics initiatives for government clients. This role will develop business intelligence solutions, build impactful dashboards and reports, manage client relationships, and deliver data-driven insights that support mission success across a growing analytics portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance (Required)
- 24 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Power BI, including:
- Data modeling (star schema, relationships, cardinality)
- Dashboard and report development
- DAX measures and calculations
- Power Query and Dataflows
- Experience with Power Automate
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, Teams, and Excel
- Strong presentation skills with experience briefing executive leadership
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement experience
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, solve technical challenges, and learn new technologies
- Experience with Palantir Foundry (Ontology and application development)
- Experience with Microsoft Power Apps
- Experience supporting multiple business functions or cross-functional teams
