We're hiring a Vice President, Market Access & Business Development to take on a genuine dual mandate: own and grow a portfolio of Anton's existing pharmaceutical manufacturer accounts, and personally originate new manufacturer business using your own network in market access and payer strategy. This role is remote, based anywhere in the U.S., with travel of roughly 40 to 50% for client, prospect, and industry events.  

We're hiring across a range of seniority for this search, from Director through Vice President, and will set title and compensation to match the experience you bring. A strong Director or Senior Director who can run an account book well and has a real, growing network is a good fit, even without a fully proven Vice President-level track record.  

What you'll do  

• Own a portfolio of Anton's pharmaceutical manufacturer accounts as the primary relationship owner, executing each client's contracted scope of work reliably.  
• Lead quarterly business reviews, track renewal and expansion timing, and protect the health of the accounts you own.  
• Build and personally develop a pipeline of new pharmaceutical manufacturer clients, using your own network in market access, payer strategy, and managed care.  
• Lead the full sales process for new business, including proposals, pricing discussions, and contract negotiation through signature.  
• Represent Anton at industry events such as AMCP, Asembia, and PCMA to build relationships and generate new business.  
• Shape market access strategy for client brands, including payer, access, and reimbursement approaches across commercial and government channels.  
• Interpret payer and policy trends and translate them into practical recommendations for clients.  
• Follow applicable compliance requirements, including PhRMA and OIG guidelines, in all client and prospect interactions.  
• Help build the account management and business development team as the business grows.  

What we're looking for  

• 6 or more years of experience in pharmaceutical market access, payer or PBM account management, or market access consulting. More senior candidates are welcome and will be leveled accordingly.  
• A track record of managing and growing multiple concurrent manufacturer or health system client relationships.  
• Active, current relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturer decision-makers and payer, health plan, or PBM stakeholders.  
• Experience in new client or business development is a strong plus. Candidates with real relationships and genuine interest in the origination side of the role will be considered even without a fully proven sales track record.  
• Strong health policy analysis and health economics and outcomes research interpretation skills.  
• Experience shaping brand strategy, value proposition development, or pricing and access initiatives for healthcare products.  
• PharmD, MBA, MPH, or a related advanced degree preferred. Equivalent senior market access experience will also be considered.  
• Ability to travel as needed for client, prospect, and industry meetings.
