Intern - Commercial - Market Access Strategy, Liver

Gilead Sciences seeks an MBA intern to support liver market access strategy initiatives in Foster City, California. The role involves evaluating access landscapes, developing strategic recommendations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize patient access and brand objectives.
Responsibilities
- Support execution of liver disease access strategies to optimize patient outcomes and brand goals
- Assess payer, pharmacy benefit manager, and competitive market dynamics affecting access
- Develop strategic recommendations for short- and long-term market access objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including market access, medical affairs, and field teams
- Present findings and project outcomes in final PowerPoint presentation
Requirements
- Enrolled full-time in Bachelor's, Master's, MBA, JD, or PhD program at accredited U.S. university
- Minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA at application and hire
- Independent work authorization in United States without sponsorship
- Ability to commit 10-12 consecutive weeks May-August; hybrid on-site work required
- Strategic analysis and critical thinking capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) preferred
Compensation: $19.00 - $55.00 hourly
