Role: Data Architect
Location: Remote (USA)
Duration: Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design and implement scalable cloud-based data solutions that support enterprise analytics, reporting, and governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data architecture, cloud platforms, data modeling, SQL, and modern data engineering practices. Experience designing data flows between ERP systems, data warehouses/lakehouses, and reporting platforms is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise data and cloud architecture solutions.

Develop scalable data models, integration frameworks, and data pipelines.

Architect data warehouse and lakehouse environments for analytics and reporting.

Define data integration strategies across ERP, operational, and reporting systems.

Collaborate with engineering, governance, and business teams to ensure data consistency and accessibility.

Establish best practices for data lineage, security, performance, and scalability.

Support source-system analysis, data migration, and modernization initiatives.

Required Skills

Strong experience in Data Architecture and Cloud Architecture

Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, modeling, and optimization

Expertise in Data Modeling (Conceptual, Logical, and Physical)

Experience with ETL/ELT design and implementation

Strong knowledge of data integration, APIs, and source-system analysis

Experience designing Data Warehouse and Lakehouse architectures

Understanding of financial data flows, reporting processes, and data lineage

Strong stakeholder management and solution design skills

Preferred / Strong Differentiator

Experience designing end-to-end architectures connecting ERP Data Warehouse/Lakehouse Reporting & Analytics Platforms

Experience supporting financial reporting and enterprise data transformation initiatives
