Overview PRN FLAT RATE AND COMPLETION BONUS OFFERED!! Join Baylor The Heart Hospital Dallas as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Tele/PCU. Patient Population: Post cardiotomy, cardiology interventional, post vascular surgical/interventional, advanced heart failure, etc. Patient Ratios: 1:4 Tele/PCU. Seasonal Commitment Full-time Seasonal weekly requirements are three 12-hour shifts for the 13-week contract (excludes 1st week of orientation).

• 1,500 completion bonus for meeting minimum productive time.
• 51 Seasonal rate.

Eligible for shift differentials: $3.50 for evenings, $5 for nights, and $6 for weekends. These are stackable (as applicable by time/day). Weekend requirements are the same as regular FT - rotating weekends. The first week is Monday-Friday orientation. Although this is a short-term (13-week) assignment, you would be a Baylor employee (not contractual, agency, etc.). The goal is to convert to a regular FT, PT, or PRN role after the assignment. Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) Seasonal PRN is a licensed professional who uses the BSWH nursing professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery by the health care team. Using the nursing process, the RN assesses the patient, identifies nursing diagnoses based on responses to health problems, develops and implements an individualized plan of care, and evaluates the patient\'s response. The RN promotes safe passage for patients by applying knowledge of patient needs and the healthcare environment to assist patients through the healthcare encounter without preventable complications or delays. The RN delegates interventions to health care personnel based on the Texas Nursing Practice Act, each patient\'s condition, and the competencies of the employee.
