Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
Monitor and assess critically ill cardiovascular patients, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or compact license eligibility
Minimum of 1 year of ICU or CVICU nursing experience
Current BLS certification
ACLS certification required
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiovascular or critical care setting
Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and management of post-cardiac surgery patients
Familiarity with CVICU-specific equipment and protocols
