Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D)
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in Labor & Delivery (L&D) to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care for patients during labor and delivery, as well as postpartum and mother-baby care.
The RN will work 12-hour night shifts, totaling 36 hours per week, with required weekend and holiday availability as needed. The candidate must also be willing to be on call.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
- Collaborate with obstetricians and midwives to accommodate patient preferences and needs.
- Administer medication and provide necessary interventions during labor and delivery.
- Monitor fetal heart rates, contractions, and other vital signs.
- Assist with Cesarean births in specialized operating rooms.
- Educate and support mothers with breastfeeding and infant care through personalized guidance and resources.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of current experience in Labor & Delivery.
- Experience in Postpartum and Mother-Baby care.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
- Active Massachusetts RN license and relevant certifications, including BLS, NRP, and STABLE, are mandatory.
- Must have the ability to provide own transportation to the assignment.

Orientation will be provided, and it is important to note that any requested time off during the assignment must be documented at the time of application. Only a limited number of days for time off will be accepted. Additionally, travelers are expected to work certain holidays during the assignment.
