Assistant Pre-Owned Manager Location: Merrick Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram – VIP Automotive Group of Long Island Salary: $75,000+ annually, inclusive of salary and commission. Position: Full‑time. Key Responsibilities Vehicle Acquisition & Inventory Management Assist with vehicle acquisition efforts and appraisal processes Support inventory management and vehicle merchandising initiatives Track and maintain inventory records accurately Assist with incoming vehicle inspections and inventory processing Coordinate vehicle movement and inventory organization Customer Communication & Relationship Building Communicate professionally with customers regarding vehicle inquiries Follow dealership customer follow-up processes Assist with prospect development and lead management Maintain a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction Build positive customer relationships that encourage repeat business Online Merchandising & Vehicle Listings Assist with vehicle photos and online inventory listings Update vehicle descriptions and online marketing content Ensure accurate vehicle information across multiple online platforms Monitor inventory presentation and merchandising standards Administrative & Department Support Assist the Pre‑Owned Manager and Assistant Manager with daily operations Maintain accurate data entry and dealership records Review daily, weekly, and monthly activities to improve performance and efficiency Attend dealership training and development programs Complete special projects and additional tasks as assigned Qualifications Required Strong computer skills Excellent organizational skills Attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment Strong communication skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Self‑motivated and dependable Customer service experience Preferred Automotive industry experience Used car department experience Automotive sales experience Vehicle acquisition or appraisal experience Inventory management experience Experience with CRM systems Social media and online marketing experience Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply Ideal Candidate Background Automotive Sales Assistant Used Car Assistant Inventory Coordinator Vehicle Acquisition Specialist Automotive Administrative Assistant Inventory Manager Assistant Automotive Sales Consultant Automotive Merchandising Coordinator Customer Service Representative Dealership Operations Assistant Schedule Full‑time.
