Job Summary
We are seeking a calm yet energetic Montessori Assistant   to join our team! You will assist the Lead Teachers to maintain the classroom routine and daily skills. You will for be responsible to help encourage each child's intellectual, psychological, and physical growth. 

Learn and explore what the Montessori Method is all about If you have a passion for helping children learn and reach their potential; if you have strong creative and problem solving kills and love to connect with the individual student; this is the place for you.

Responsibilities 

• Learn Montessori Method
• Foster Independence
• Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
• Communicate with Teachers and Directors
• Flexible to work with Infants to 5 year olds
• Hours 8:30AM-5PM Monday-Friday closely follows public school calendar plus work at least 5 weeks summer

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of child development and best practice in classroom management a plus
• Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
• Desire to Learn
• Knowledge of classroom safety, health and sanitizing and ability to closely adhere to these guidelines
• Team Player
• Problem Solving and Mediation Skills
