Group Fitness Instructor

Position Overview As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will be expected to motivate and engage participants while leading scheduled group fitness classes. The core responsibility is to provide an incredible customer experience, offering an encouraging voice and energetic personality during all exercise activities, whether on a weekly or daily basis. Essential Responsibilities
- Develop positive relationships with class participants by teaching a variety of challenging and entertaining group fitness classes.
- Educate participants on correct form and offer alternate modifications during the fitness routine; provide hands-on adjustments as needed and appropriate.
- Stay current with fitness trends and adapt class content to meet the specific needs and preferences of each facility.
- Attentively listen to members, answer questions, and engage in conversation before and after classes to build rapport.
- Clean and organize the studio as needed, ensuring all equipment is put away before and after each group fitness class.
- Set a positive tone and maintain an appropriate level of energy tailored to the class type (e.g., high-intensity for HIIT, calming for Yoga).
- Adhere and adapt to all current and new LIVunLtd policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Report any unsafe conditions or situations that require attention to your manager immediately.
- Wear corporate/building approved uniforms for each specific LIVunLtd location where you are working.
- Provide a safe, positive, and inclusive environment that encourages all customers to participate.
- Tuesday - Total body strength - 12pm-12:45pm
- Wednesday - HIIT - 12pm-12:45pm
- Tuesday -Total body strength workout (beginner to intermediate) - 11:45am-12:30pm
- Wednesday - HYROX circuit (more intermediate to advanced) - 11:45am-12:30pm
- Certifications: Active CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required.
- Fitness Credentials: Nationally recognized and relevant group fitness certifications are required.
- Knowledge & Passion: Enthusiastic, passionate, and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry and current trends.
- Specialization (Preferred): Ability to train in multiple specializations is preferred (e.g., TRX, Kettlebell, Zumba, Spin, Barre, Yoga, HIIT).
- Communication: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
