This role involves providing advanced respiratory care to patients in intensive care units and general floors. The ideal candidate will have experience managing mechanically ventilated patients and possess all required certifications. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. Job Details Location: Saint Louis, Missouri Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Shift: Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week, with every third-weekend rotation and holiday coverage required. Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 Required Qualifications: BLS certification, Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner License, RRT credential, at least 2 years of experience, bachelor’s degree or actively working towards one in any field of study, and residence outside a 75-mile radius (no local candidates accepted). Preferred Qualifications: Active membership with the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC). Special Requirements: Epic electronic medical record experience, proficiency with airway management devices and suctioning, medication administration, nebulizer use, high flow nasal cannula oxygen therapy, ventilator management including BiPAP and CPAP, troubleshooting high-pressure alarms, confidence in arterial blood gas interpretation, and flu vaccination. Certifications: BLS, RRT, Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner License. Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to work some holidays. Traveling candidates will need to coordinate parking passes through Public Safety.
