Job TitleStarting Rate of Pay: $ 18.19 per hourPosition OverviewResponsible for cleaning the physical structures, the yard and dock areas of the facility to provide an attractive, clean, work environment.Essential FunctionsVacuum, sweep, mop and dust entire office areaEmpty trashClean restroomsPerform general yard work (cleans, picks up trash, cuts grass, maintains gardens)Maintain parking areas to keep free of trashClean dock and dock apronPerform minor building repair and paint as neededChange light bulbs in office area and on dockChange air conditioner filtersComply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/proceduresPerform other duties as requiredQualificationsHigh School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)Good cleaning techniques and floor buffing skillsMust be professional in interaction with customers and coworkersGood organizational skillsBasic verbal and written communication skillsAbility to bend, twist, squat and pull/push custodial equipment throughout shiftGood chemical awarenessAble to follow instructions and complete required trainingAbility to work independently and as a team memberWorking ConditionsMust be able to stand or walk for eight hours and do light lifting consistentlyExposure to climate conditions of the geographic areaExposure to hot and cold soapy water, chemicals, dust, tobacco waste or other irritantsHours may vary due to operational needEST FedEx Freight, Inc FedEx Freight is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.
