Physician Assistant - Surgical 1st Assistant
Sabio Systems
You will work closely with the Chief of Surgery and a team of Vascular and Oncology Surgeons, serving as First Assist in the OR while providing comprehensive patient support across the pre- and post-operative continuum.
What You'll Do- Serve as First Assist in the operating room alongside Vascular and Oncology Surgeons.
- Conduct pre-operative evaluations and manage post-operative follow-up care.
- Participate in clinic responsibilities and ongoing patient management.
- Assist with inpatient rounding as needed.
- Coordinate communication with referring and primary care providers to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Current New York State Physician Assistant license
- National Certification (NCCPA)
- Valid DEA license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
