Junior Accountant
\nLocation: Miami, FL
\nEmployment Type: Full-Time
\n \nAbout the Role
\nVUMI Group is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in accounting functions, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
\n \nResponsibilities
\n- \n
- Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions \n
- Assist with billing processes and account reconciliations \n
- Support weekly claims and commission activities \n
- Assist with payroll-related processes \n
- Prepare and maintain accounting records and financial reports \n
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities \n
- Assist with audit preparation and supporting documentation \n
- Process, review, and reconcile accounting documents \n
- Maintain spreadsheets and accounting data \n
- Perform general administrative and accounting support tasks \n
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field \n
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or finance experience \n
- Experience with account reconciliations and financial reporting \n
- Knowledge of GAAP principles \n
- Experience with ACH payments, wire transfers, or banking activities preferred \n
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred) \n
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy \n
- Excellent organizational and time management skills \n
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies \n
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred \n

\n \nImportant: Applicants should have prior accounting or bookkeeping experience. Recent graduates without relevant accounting experience may not meet the minimum qualifications for this role.
