What Your Role Entails

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic conditions, either independently or in collaboration with physicians, per your credentialing
• Informing patients and their families about prevention, wellness initiatives, and disease management strategies
• Administering medications and therapies according to your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic health conditions
• Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide cohesive, holistic care
• Accurately and comprehensively documenting patient information in electronic medical records (EMR)

What You Need to Succeed

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Credentials

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Wisconsin
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
