Registered Nurse - Obstetrics (RN/OB)

This position requires a PM shift from 19:00 to 07:00, working three 12-hour shifts per week for a total of 36 hours. Additionally, there will be occasional rotation to a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM schedule, with every third weekend and every other holiday required.

The Registered Nurse in the Obstetrics unit will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients, including managing female medical-surgical overflow when necessary. Call hours will vary and are generally around 24 hours every six weeks. It is essential that staff members remain within 15 minutes of the hospital when on call.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Obstetrics unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare team members.
• Manage and care for female medical-surgical overflow patients as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of two years of nursing experience, with relevant experience in Obstetrics preferred.
• Active NRP certification required.
• Act 73 results required for all staff; it is highly recommended to begin the fingerprinting process upon acceptance of the offer to avoid any delays in the start date.
