Nuclear Medicine TechnologistSyracuse, NY | $90,000 to $135,000 + $3,000 sign-on bonusThis role is with an outpatient imaging team in Syracuse, NY that performs hybrid imaging procedures including PET/CT and SPECT/CT. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will work in a specialty outpatient setting with PET/CT training provided, making this role accessible to both experienced technologists and new graduates.ScheduleFull-time, Monday through Friday, rotating within clinic hours of 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No weekends and no on-call.Compensation$90,000 to $135,000 based on experience and qualifications, plus a $3,000 sign-on bonus.What You'll DoThe Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs nuclear medicine and hybrid imaging procedures, including PET/CT and SPECT/CT studies, in a modern outpatient environment. This person prepares, calculates, orders, administers, and documents radioactive isotopes according to established protocols, and reviews physician orders and verifies patient identification before each procedure. The role includes educating patients on exam preparation and procedural expectations, monitoring patient comfort and safety throughout imaging, and completing required quality control procedures to maintain equipment standards.
