Duration: September – February (with potential for conversion to full-time) Pay Rate: $17 – $21/hour Schedule: Friday - Tuesday 7:00AM - 3:30PM CT Position Overview Mechdyne is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Temporary Level 1 IT Help Desk Agent to join our team. This full-time contract role will run from September through February , with the opportunity for permanent conversion based on performance and business needs. In this position, you’ll serve as the first point of contact for technical support, assisting users with a wide range of IT-related issues while delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software, and network issues Log, track, and manage incidents and service requests Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as needed Follow standard operating procedures and maintain accurate documentation Deliver a positive and professional customer experience with every interaction Schedule & Availability Schedule: Friday - Tuesday 7:00AM - 3:30PM CT Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Basic knowledge of: Windows operating systems Microsoft Office applications Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Previous help desk or customer support experience is a plus Why Join Mechdyne?
