An experienced technician is responsible for performing vehicle repairs and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

Pay ranges from $25 to $45 an hour flat rate.

Essential duties include performing work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, diagnosing vehicle problems, communicating with parts department, saving and tagging parts if under warranty, examining vehicles for further safety or service work, documenting all work performed, road testing vehicles, participating in training programs, keeping abreast of technical bulletins, inspecting newly delivered vehicles, installing optional equipment, reporting machinery defects, ensuring customer cars are clean, keeping the shop area neat, maintaining dealership-owned tools, complying with regulations, operating tools and equipment safely, and reporting safety issues.

Marginal duties include being a team player, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and other duties as assigned.

Driving is an essential function of this position. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record consistent with company insurance standards throughout employment.
