They work in a team environment, using independent learning skills to innovate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues in a networked environment. Performs daily monitoring of the application software and hardware, analyzes and resolves problems, and collaborates with vendors and technical teams to ensure optimal performance (25%). Researches, implements, and supports network-based applications and solutions in a mixed Windows/macOS client environment (10%). Provides support for campus printing, including managed print services and ID cards (10%). Updates documentation and procedures, works with vendors, and performs other duties as assigned (10%). Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in information technology or a related field and two years of systems and application administration experience in an area related to the assignment. OR an equivalent combination of education, certification, and directly related full‑time experience sufficient to perform the essential duties, unless otherwise required by law. Desired Qualifications Experience supporting enterprise applications in a large organization, including administration of workstations, virtual servers, Docker, web-based applications, server/end‑user software, databases, network printing, and SSO. Experience working in an Active Directory environment, including client management tools, group policies, and user authentication. Experience with virtual or cloud-based systems on VMware, Azure, AWS, and other platforms. Experience with scripting and programming languages such as PowerShell, Shell, HTML, PHP. Experience with SQL database platforms such as Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. Experience with server system security and endpoint protection platforms, and with managed print services. One year of full‑time relevant MCCCD experience during the previous two years. Special Working Conditions Possession of a valid State of Arizona Class D Driver’s License or other state license; employee must meet district minimum standards regarding driving. Travel to campus during interview/selection process at candidate’s own expense. MCCCD does not sponsor individuals for any type of work visas. Required to travel or be assigned to all MCCCD locations. May require travel or work at the Black Mountain campus. May require numerous evenings or weekends. On call for emergency circumstances. Required to sit for a prolonged period of time, viewing a computer monitor. May be required to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
