Reaper Siteworks is hiring for a Junior Estimator position based out of our office in Palmer Lake, CO. Reaper Siteworks is a commercial excavation and utility contractor focused on site demolition, overlot grading, site paving, structural excavation, shoring, and underground wet utilities.

The Junior Estimator will largely be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Preparing estimate files and categorizing project documents received from bid requests.
2. Distributing Requests for Proposal (RFP) to subcontractors and vendors.
3. Completing quantity takeoffs and loading takeoff data into estimates.
4. Assisting Chief Estimator in reviewing and leveling subcontractor and vendor proposals.
5. Follow up on proposals to clients, subcontractors, and vendors.

This is a trainable role, with the following minimum threshold requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or 2 Years of Commercial Construction experience in estimating.
2. Ability to read construction documents and drawings accurately.
3. Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel.
4. Experience with Bluebeam Revu or similar takeoff software.
5. US Citizenship or authorization to work in the United States.
6. English as a first language or English fluency.

This position is full-time and on-site at our office. No option for remote work.
