The ability to help with solving customer problems and a commitment to deliver the highest levels of customer service is how you will build customer success.This position will be focused primarily on GC and GCMS products. Prior experience preferred.Your Role:Supporting our customers with on-site installation, implementation, maintenance and repair of company and multi-vendor systems solutions.Installs and optimizes hardware/software/network products and configurations at customer sites.Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems.Performs maintenance and repairs.Ensuring customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance.Proactively responding to potential equipment issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business.Deliver fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems and applications software.Training other field engineers and customers in the solutions.Region covered: Greater Los Angeles area (LA, Orange, Ventura and Riverside Counties)Qualifications:Bachelor's or master's Degree within the science field – e.g. chemistry, analytical chemistry biochemistry, biotechnology preferred1+ year of relevant experience in a service role or working with analytical chemistry instruments such as GC, GCMS preferredExperience with troubleshooting and problem solvingExperience with the Agilent solutions is desired but not essentialVerbal and written communication is clear, respectful and timelyYou enjoy travelling and visiting customersAdditional DetailsThis job has a full time weekly schedule. In the US, this position is eligible for choice of company car or reimbursement for personal vehicle usage. The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $36.38 - $63.75/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
