MGB Breast Imaging Radiologist

Position Overview The Mass General Brigham Department of Radiology and Harvard Medical School have an opening for a breast imaging radiologist at the Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor level. This faculty position offers the opportunity to practice at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) and/or Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). The successful applicant will join a collaborative, supportive team dedicated to clinical excellence, teaching, and research within a high-volume, diverse, and inclusive environment. The anticipated start date for this full-time position is July 2026. Breast Imaging Services Comprehensive breast imaging services are offered at the MGH Avon Breast Center, the Lee Bell Breast Center at BWH, the new Stoneman Breast Center at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, and several outpatient imaging centers, including several in underserved locations within the Boston area. MGH and BWH provide state-of-the-art imaging equipment, including tomosynthesis, upright stereotactic biopsy, breast ultrasound, contrast enhanced mammography, and 1.5T and 3T MRI. Over 80,000 mammograms, 14,000 ultrasounds, 6,000 MRI, and 5,500 procedures are performed annually across MGH and BWH sites. The department provides home workstations for faculty for work-from-home opportunities and offers hybrid onsite/remote schedules. The diverse breast imaging team includes faculty, trainees, technologists, nurses, and administrative staff in a highly collegial working environment. Qualifications Candidates need board certification and breast imaging fellowship or equivalent training or equivalent and should have a record of clinical and academic achievement. Contact Michael D.
