CNC Machinist

Syndeo is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a local aircraft component manufacturing company. This position is responsible for the setup and operation of CNC machines and equipment to produce precision components that meet quality and production standards.

This is a direct-hire opportunity with both 1st and 2nd shift positions available. The company offers a competitive compensation package and excellent benefits.

1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Pay: based on experience

Essential Functions:

• Program, set up and operate the CNC machine
• Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the program
• Monitor the machine while it is executing the tasks and make changes as necessary
• Inspect finished products
• Maintain quality and safety standards
• May operate a forklift
• Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years CNC experience
• Knowledge of machining processes and tooling concepts
• Ability to stretch, lift, twist, and bend continuously throughout the shift
• Must be able to follow written and oral directions
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. when required. While performing duties, employees are regularly required to stand, walk, twist, grasp, lift, and reach. Vision abilities require good close and distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The work environment is not climate controlled, and the noise level is typical for a metal fabrication operation.
