Pharmacy - Pharmacist

Inpatient Pharmacist

Provide and oversee pharmacy services, including medication preparation, compounding, pharmacist-to-dose monitoring, and safe medication distribution. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication selection, availability, dosing, interactions, side effects, and incompatibilities. Supervise pharmacy technicians and help ensure effective use of pharmacy personnel and resources. Use clinical judgment and decision-making skills to support high-quality, cost-effective patient care and improve pharmacy processes and outcomes. Assist with quality assurance, safety, infection control, environmental protection, inventory control, and pharmacy committee activities. Completion of a pharmacy residency or two years of hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
