CNC Set-Up Machinist

CNC Set-Up MachinistB&T USA is seeking an experienced and reliable CNC Set-Up Machinist who can plan, set up, and run various parts of the CNC machines. The CNC Set-Up Machinist will maintain quality, safety standards, and keep records while maintaining equipment and supplies of the machines.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSet up tooling for complex jobs in multi-axis multi-turret mill turn lathesSet up jobs based on set up sheets and dial in part dimensionsWork directly with CNC programmer to set up new jobsMeasure parts with correct tools including micrometers, calipers, height gauge, pins, gauge blocks, etc.Instruct machine operators on proper operation techniquesEvaluate machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtimeUnderstand and ensure compliance with all regulations concerning the departmentMaintain a safe and secure environment for all staff by following established safety standardsEncourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departmentsRequired Education/ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED.
