Registered Nurse (RN) - Nephrology

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Nephrology department for a 13-week assignment, with the possibility of extension. This position requires a commitment to provide high-quality care on the medical-surgical floor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with established protocols
• Monitor patient conditions and provide appropriate interventions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and any significant changes in condition

Shift Details

This position involves working night shifts, 3 shifts per week (12-hour shifts, 19:00 - 07:00).

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Skills: Intermediate level in managing telemetry, IV starts required. Telemetry experience preferred.
• Patient-to-nurse ratios typically ranging from 1:6 to 1:7
• Royal Blue scrubs are required (not provided)

Additional Information

• Availability for every other weekend shifts required
• Minimal to no requests for time off (RTO) will be accepted
• No travelers are accepted within a 30-mile radius; those traveling from 31-50 miles will receive a discount on the posted bill rate.
